Summerween 2026: Put a Ghost on a Flamingo and Call It a Season

Every year around this time I start looking at my backyard and thinking about skulls. Not in a dark way. In a "what if I put a skull next to the plants and lit some candles and made this whole situation significantly more interesting" way.

If you know, you know. And apparently now the rest of the world knows too, because Summerween went from a quiet internet thing to GMA covering it last July to Pinterest going fully feral over haunted tiki bars and ghost pool floats. The people who've been keeping their Halloween candles out year-round were just early. The rest of the world is catching up.

Here's what's good this year.

The Pool Float

There's a giant inflatable bat float with black wings, and I think about it more than is probably reasonable.

Black bat wings, giant size, floating around your pool looking like something a gothic pool party was designed around. It photographs way better than it has any right to. Your friends will do a double-take. Someone will ask about it. Everyone will want to get on it for a photo. That's just how this goes.

There are flamingo floats out there, but the bat is the one this year and it's not close.

Your Backyard, But Haunted

You don't need to do a lot to make your outdoor space feel like something's going on. A few pieces in the right spots and your whole patio shifts.

First, the Aoriher inflatable coffin drink cooler. Fifty-two inches of functional Summerween. Load it with drinks on one end and ice on the other, float it in the pool or set it at the edge, and your entire setup shifts. It's a beverage cooler shaped like a coffin. Every time someone reaches in for a drink, they know what kind of afternoon this is.

Then the Cedilis ceramic tiki mugs. Set of four, ten ounces each, built for cocktails. These are the mugs you hand someone when you want them to feel like they're at a proper tiki bar with a sense of humor. Rum, mai tai, whatever you're making, it goes in the skull mug and the occasion automatically gets more interesting.

And the Servette skull mason jar mugs. Set of ten, twenty ounces each, comes with lids and straws. Iridescent. You need functional drinkware for a party and you want it to match the aesthetic. These are it. Not disposable plastic, not fragile novelty glasses, actual drinkable-from glassware that doesn't break the second someone looks at it wrong.

The BARCONIC skull tiki bar set ties the whole operation together. Skull-themed, works as a bar setup, looks good doing it. Set it up, let it do the work, and now you have a corner of the yard that's clearly the best corner of the yard.

And for the smell, because your tiki bar needs to smell right: a mango pineapple candle with two wicks and a 70-hour burn. Tropical, but in a way where you get the sense something else is going on. Like a tiki bar where the bartender knows a little too much about the history of the building.

If you've already got monstera and dark tropicals everywhere, your space has been ready for this the whole time. Add the coffin cooler. Float the bat. You're done.

Having People Over

If your backyard already looks like this, you don't need to plan anything. Tell people to come by. The coffin cooler will handle the drinks and the bat float will handle the conversation.

Cedilis tiki mugs in hand. Servette skull jars for the people who want straws. The BARCONIC set looking good on the table. Mango pineapple candle burning. That's a Summerween party and you didn't even have to overthink it, which is always when parties are actually good.

The Summerween collection is starting to roll out if you want something to wear to your own thing. Dark, fun, stuff that still feels like you when it's 90 out, it will continue to grow as we get deeper into the season so keep an eye out for new releases each week. And for the plant people, Green Witch goes with all of this if your garden's already doing its part and you want the outfit to match.

Summer's better when it's a little weird. This is the year Summerween catches more of the mainstream, take advantage and get spooky in the sun.
